Verra Mobility named as a top 100 company by Government Technology magazine

Government Technology named Verra Mobility as a top 100 company for 2024. This designation is given to companies showing growth and business leadership in the technology sector selling to local and state government agencies across the United States. The magazine states, “These companies are on the front line making governments work more efficiently. They are innovative, ahead of the curve, and making a difference in the way citizens interact with government.”

The technology sector within local governments is showing large growth. The magazine contributes multiple factors to a growing industry stating that where governments seek to embrace cloud adoption and replacement of legacy systems, there is also federal infrastructure and COVID-19 relief money flowing through the economy. This helps public agencies who seek to upgrade their technology.

In the same edition, the magazine talks specifically about smart cities and transportation. New technology, similar to Verra Mobility’s, has the ability to respond and adapt to what’s happening on the ground while ensuring individual privacy. This gives local agencies and policymakers a data-driven approach to making decisions based on what’s happening in their city.

This is the ninth year the magazine has declared the top 100 companies and the fourth consecutive year Verra Mobility was honored. This year’s curation highlights the explosive growth of the government/technology market and the leaders driving public-sector innovation.
