GET TO KNOW GABRIELLA:
- What is your role at Verra Mobility?
I manage a team of dozens of people responsible for tolling and violation transaction processing as part of Verra Mobility’s Commercial Services business. In our business, we support owners and operators of vehicle fleets, including rental car companies, by providing toll management, violations processing and title and registration services. - What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m passionate about partnering with the community and philanthropic organizations. Every Thanksgiving, I organize a food drive to help people in need in the Phoenix area. Last year, our team collected about 400 pounds of food to donate!
I also enjoy participating in Salvation Army Christmas Angel fundraisers, backpack drives before school starts, and water bottle drives for summer. I also join in events for Feed My Starving Children, and I support UMom. - What advice would you give other aspiring young leaders in their career?
You never know where life will take you. Be as flexible as you can, and jump at opportunities when they are provided to you. Growing up, I had always envisioned myself as an elementary school teacher – in fact, that’s what I studied in college. I took a temp role at Verra Mobility during college; I didn’t know that would take me anywhere. Flashforward 16 years, and I’m still here! During this time, I’ve had 7 different roles at the company and an incredible career. Always be on the lookout for your next opportunity.
